CBSE may soon release the detailed notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2021. According to various media reports, the notification for CTET 2021 will be released by the CBSE by the end of August. It is worth mentioning that the candidates were waiting for the release of Central Teacher Eligibility Test notification for a long time. Candidates are advised to visit CBSE or Tiwari Academy website regularly for latest updates.

Exams May be Held in December or January

According to a recent CBSE notice, the exam may be held in December 2021 or January 2022. But the complete details in this regard will be available only after the release of the detailed notification.

CTET, Exam Will Be Conducted Through Online Mode:
Some major changes have also been made in CTET this year under the new education policy. This year CTET will be conducted in online mode. It is to be noted that CTET is conducted twice a year. Every year lakhs of candidates appear for the eligibility test and fulfil their dream of becoming a teacher.

Recruitment Policy

Recruitment Policy For CTET:
This exam is conducted for recruitment to the posts of teachers from class 1 to 8. There are two papers in the exam.

    1. Paper-1 is conducted for recruitment to the posts of teachers from class 1 to Class 5 and
    2. Paper-2 for the recruitment of teachers for classes 6 to 8.
    3. The candidates who want to teach the students of class 1 to 8 are required to appear for both the papers.

Eligible Criteria Of The Candidates:
It is noteworthy that to appear in Paper 1, candidates must have passed 12th with 50% marks. At the same time, a two-year diploma is also necessary. Whereas to appear in Paper 2, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline along with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

When Notification Can Be Issued

According to various media reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may release the notification for CTET by the end of August. Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) may soon release the notification for UPTET as well. For other information related to the notification of these eligibility tests, candidates keep visiting the website of the respective board.

You Will Be Successful By Scoring How Much:

    • 1) There are two papers in both the CTET and UPTET exams. In these, candidates wishing to teach from class 1 to class 5 have to give paper 1, while those who wish to teach from class 6 to class 8 have to give their paper 2.
    • 2) In both the papers of both the CTET and UPTET exams 150 questions carrying a total of 150 marks are asked. General category candidates appearing in any paper of CTET and UPTET will have to obtain 60 percentiles i.e., 90 marks as cut off score.
    • 3) Reserved category candidates have to score minimum 55 percent i.e., 82.5 marks to pass this exam.
