Students appearing in Central Board of Secondary Education, (CBSE) Class 10th and Class 12th Term 1 board exams will get a chance to appear from the schools in which they have registered. CBSE in a statement said that the board is trying to allot the students their schools as examination centres to ensure the minimum amount, minimum travelled. Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will also follow the same policy.
Schools can apply for Change of Examination Centre:
Students who are living in a city different from their school will get a chance to apply for a change in the exam centre. The window to apply for change in exam centre is not yet open. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has said in the notice that at an appropriate time, CBSE will inform the students from their respective schools to request them to change the city of their examination centre.
CBSE will Sanitize the Schools Before the Exam:
To ensure fair examination, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will appoint invigilators and invigilators at the examination centres. For students who have registered in open mode, exam centres will be allotted around them to ensure minimum travel. The examinations will be conducted in offline mode. Considering conducting the exams amid a pandemic, CBSE will sanitize the schools ahead of the exams. Efforts will be made to establish schools as self-centres.
The Examination will Consist of Securing Marks only:
The result of the first semester examination will carry marks only and no student will be placed in a passed or failed category on the basis of the result of the first term. The final result will include the marks obtained in TERM-1, TERM-2 and Internal Assessment. For class 10, internal assessment will consist of three periodic tests, student enrichment, portfolio and practical work, speaking listening activities. Internal assessment for class 12 will consist of unit tests, exploratory activities, practical and projects at the end of each topic.
Schedule & Exam Paper For Class 10th and 12th:
CBSE is offering 114 subjects in class 12 and a total of 75 subjects for class 10. Of these, 19 in class 12 and 9 in Class 10 are major subjects, the rest are minor subjects.
Whereas the 12th board exams will start from 1st December and will continue till 22nd December for major subjects. Class 10 board exam 2022 will start from 30th November. For class 10, the minor exam will start from December 17 and for class 12 it is December 16.
