The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will declare the SSC or class 10 result today, July 13, in the evening. As per the information given on the board’s website, Goa Board Class 10 results will be declared after 5 pm. Students need to log on to the official website gbshse.gov.in or gbshsegoa.net with their seat number to check their result.

Goa Board did not conduct the final exam for both class 10 and class 12 students this year. In May, it released an alternative scheme for evaluation of class 10 students.
The board had said, “The class X board results will be prepared on the basis of internal assessment conducted by the schools and an objective criterion developed by the board”.

    • 3) Enter your seat number and captcha code and search
    • 4) Result will be displayed on Serene

GBSHSE said that the candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted marks will be given an opportunity to appear in the examination under conditions conducive to the conduct of the examination.

“In cases where a school willingly indulges in practices that are not in consonance with the fair, fair and objective practices of assessment, the Board reserves the right to cancel recognition or impose financial penalties against the school. And unless it is in line with the policy of the Board, the school has the power to decide not to declare the result of class X”, it said.

The Puducherry Administration Decision

Chief Minister N Ranga-swamy announced that the Puducherry administration has decided to reopen colleges and schools from July 16 for students of classes 9 to 12. Schools and colleges were closed for physical classes in view of the COVID-19 crisis.
Government-run and privately managed colleges in Puducherry were earlier directed to conduct online classes only following a rise in the number of coronavirus cases in the union territory. Classes will be held six days a week (Monday to Saturday).

“All Pass” In This Academic Year

On March 11, the governor approved a proposal to declare the students of classes 1 to 9 in the union territory as “all pass” in this academic year. Students of class 10 and class 11 in Puducherry and Karaikal will be declared “all pass” as per the guidelines of the Tamil Nadu Board (TNB).
Similarly, students of class 10 and 11 in Mahe and Yanam regions will be promoted as per the guidelines of the Board of Education in Kerala and Andhra Pradesh respectively, a Raj Niwas release said.

Covid Cases Are Decreasing

As the number of Covid cases are decreasing in the country, several states including Bihar and Haryana have announced the resumption of classes in offline mode. However, these states, while announcing the reopening of schools and colleges, have also said that attendance will not be mandatory and COVID-19 protocol will be followed.
