Escalating the inter-state row over school education, Aam Aadmi Party-AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister A. Elections are due in Punjab early next year and the Aam Aadmi Party-AAP wants to grab power from the ruling Congress. Notably, ruling Congress and Aam Aadmi Party-AAP leaders have taken a dig at the state of education in their schools in Punjab and Delhi in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, Punjab Chief Minister C. Singh had called his Delhi counterpart Kejriwal a “POWER GREEDY OUTSIDER” who wants to rule the state and accused him of misleading Punjabis. In his video message, in which he spoke in Punjabi, Kejriwal said that earlier the condition of Delhi’s government schools was also pathetic, “BUT WE HAVE IMPROVED THEIR CONDITION”.
Now the standard of those schools has improved so much that this year 2.5 lakh students of Delhi have shifted from private schools for admission in our government schools. Shouldn’t government schools in Punjab be as good as Delhi? But CM. In a bid to woo the SC, community ahead of the Punjab Assembly polls, Kejriwal, during his visit to Hoshiarpur district, on Tuesday promised that his children, apart from bearing their coaching fees, for higher education if the party is voted to power.
