Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed the opening ceremony of the Shikshaka Parva Conclave yesterday, 7th September. The Prime Minister has also launched several initiatives as part of the Shikshaka Parva Sammelana. And on the other hand, with an aim to help youth acquire vocational skills, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday launched “Business Blasters” program for Delhi government school students of class 11 and Class 12.
PM Modi has launched Talking Books, School Quality Assurance and Assessment Framework of CBSE, Indian Sign Language Dictionary, Nishtha teacher training program for Vidyanjai portal & Nipun Bharat.
While Indian Sign Language Dictionary is audio and text embedded sign language videos for the hearing impaired, in line with the Universal Design of Learning, Talking Books are audio books for the visually impaired.
School Quality Assurance & Evaluation Framework Of CBSE:
CBSE’s School Quality Assurance and Assessment Framework, Teacher Training Program for NIPUN India and Vidyanjali Portal, will facilitate education volunteers, donors, CSR contributors for the development of the school.
Inaugurating these programs, Narendra Damodar Das Modi said that we all are aware that for the progress of any country, education should not only be inclusive but should be equal.
Its celebration seeks to encourage innovative practices not only to ensure continuity of education at all levels but also to improve quality, inclusive practices and sustainability in schools across the country.
The theme of “Shikshak Parv-2021” is “Quality and Sustainable Schools: Learning from Schools in India”. This program will continue till 17 September 2021.
DCM- Manish Sisodia Launched “Business Blasters”:
The Business Blasters program will prove to be a milestone in the progress of the country. The day is not far when youth will create employment instead of asking for it. We have to create an image that India is a country of literate and capable youth who do not ask for jobs but create – he said.
Mr. Sisodia, who is also the Education Minister of Delhi, said that there is not enough employment in the country for the youth who have completed their education and added that the Delhi government will organize competitions at the district and state level for the youth. It has been launched for the students of Class 11th and 12th schools of Delhi Government.
1) Under this program children will be trained for entrepreneurship skills.
2) Competitions will be organized at district and state level.
3) A total of 1000 children will qualify for the district level competition, out of which 10 winners will be selected.
4) These winners will get direct admission in Indira Gandhi Delhi Women’s Technical University (IGDTUW), Delhi Technological University (DTU), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and Netaji Subhash Technological University (NSUT).
The objective of the “Business Blasters” program was to inculcate confidence in the children to do whatever they do with an entrepreneurial mindset. In this project nine groups of 40 children were formed and each child was given a seed amount of at least Rs 1,000. These kids made huge profits in the project.
