Central Board of Secondary Education and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education or CBSE, ICSE Term 1 Exam 2022 is trending on social media for quite some time. As exams are approaching, students have filed a petition in Supreme Court (SC) seeking to conduct this class 10, 12 board exams in hybrid mode.
CBSE, ICSE Term 1 Exam 2022 is scheduled to start in November, 2021 itself but on different dates for both class 10 and 12. A writ petition has been filed by 6 students challenging the decision of both CBSE and CISCE boards. Exam in offline mode.
Online or Hybrid Mode Students are Seeking:
The students are demanding the conduct of these board examinations in online or hybrid mode on the ground that the offline examination may increase the risk of spreading the COVID-19 infection. As per reports, the petition has been filed through advocate Sumant Nukala and is likely to be taken up for hearing soon.
Regarding CBSE & CISCE Class 10, 12 Term 1 Exam:
In this petition, there has been a demand to quash two circulars of CBSE and CISCE related to class 10th, 12th class 1 examination. These circulars are – CBSE’s circular dated October 14, 2021 containing the schedule of Term 1 examinations for X and XII, and CISCE’s circular dated October 22, 2021 containing the schedule of ISC and ICSE semester 1 examinations.
COVID-19 Safety Protocol:
CBSE, ICSE Term 1 Exam 2021 will be conducted following the COVID-19 safety protocols. In the petition, it has been argued that since the examinations are spread over 3 weeks, it increases the risk of students getting infected with COVID-19. Also, if students fall ill, it will affect their other exams as well.
To Conduct the Exam without giving a Valid Option:
The petitioners have further argued that taking the consent of the students for conducting the examination without giving a valid option is not correct and should not be so. As of now, there is no update on when the matter will come up for hearing. Keep checking here for more updates.
CBSE Term 1 Admit Card Live (Out), Class 10, 12 Roll Numbers Released:
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit card for term 1. CBSE has scheduled the examination for the main papers of class 10 from November 30 and for class 12 from December 1. CBSE Admit Card 2021 for class 10 and 12 will be issued along with the exam guidelines.
