The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE announced the CBSE Class 12 Result 2021 yesterday. CBSE Result 2021 declared for private, compartment and letter candidates.
The exam was also open for regular students who were not satisfied with the result declared on the basis of internal assessment criteria. Only 34,316 students appeared under the category, many of whom have also secured a compartment.
As per the notice issued, out of total 13, 04, 561 candidates, only 34,316 students, who had registered for Class 12 CBSE Board Exam 2021, appeared for the offline exam.
Apart from these, 58,357 students appeared as private candidates and 1731 as correspondence candidates.
Out of total private candidates, only 9852 candidates passed while 13,978 students were placed in compartment. For regular students, the pass and compartment numbers were not shared by the board. However, some of the schools we spoke to shared that student who were passed as per internal assessment have also been kept in compartment. At least 17 schools have confirmed that some students have received compartments.
Around 6 students had decided to appear for the offline exam from our school. Of these, 6 are finished with 3 cans. In addition, 2 students scored a final score less than the award given by the school, – shared a teacher on condition of anonymity.
A total of 17 papers were written by our 8 students collectively. Out of these, the marks of only 3 subjects have increased so much that they can have any significant impact. Most of the students have either scored less or have increased by 1 or 2 marks – shared another Delhi teacher. Similar numbers were shared by different schools.
However, from this year the evaluation scheme has been revised and the exams will be conducted as per the duration. CBSE Board Exam 2022 Term 1 Exam is going to start from November. Schools are now demanding clarity.
The schools want clarity on what lies ahead. Generally, students who have been placed in compartment will now have to appear in the board exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for the next academic session.
There is currently no clarity from the board regarding the students who have been kept in the compartment. As announced earlier, the marks obtained in the offline exam are to be considered as final. But will the students appear for both (Term I and II) or will there be a special compartment exam in March? At present, all eyes are on Central Board of Secondary Education.
Meanwhile, the date to register for Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2024-25 ends today. Schools will have to submit the list of candidates on CBSE Website by the end of the day today. The date sheet for (Term-I)exam is expected by mid-October.
