TERM-1 November-December 2021

TERM-1 November-December 2021 will be Held in:
Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Board Exam 2022 Term will be held in 1st November-December 2021. To conduct the TERM-1 exam the board has started the pre-examination work which includes finalization of the list of candidates, preparation of date sheet and also – centre allotment and evaluation process.

CBSE Is Planning The Offline Examination At The Prescribed Centres:
CBSE has sent mail to the respective city coordinators seeking information about the exam centre and other details. The board has also sought information about photo-copying, printing facility and other details besides the possible centres. As per the document received, it can be assessed that the board is planning the offline examination at the designated centres. Here’s what we know:

    • 1) Firstly, concern regarding health and safety, under the CORONA-19 guidelines, a maximum of 12 students will be allowed in a class, and not more than 12.
    • 2) Schools have been asked to furnish information about the proposed centre – indicating that the examination will be conducted in offline mode at the examination centres.
    • 3) Schools are likely to send question papers on the day of the exam itself. As per the communication, the proposed exam centre should be able to download, print, copy and staple the question papers within 30-40 minutes for the allotted number of students.
    • 4) As far as the date sheet is concerned, no major class 10 and class 12 Standard exams will be held on the same day.
    • 5) Schools have been asked to ensure that they can act promptly and efficiently to handle all activities related to distribution/stapling/downloading/printing/conduct of examination/evaluation and uploading etc.
    • 6) On the day of examination, the OMR sheet is likely to be uploaded and sent to CBSE after evaluation. According to the mail “the proposed centre will also have to do the evaluation work as per the schedule on the same day”. Since the answer sheets will be OMR sheets, the evaluation work will compulsorily be with reference to uploading of OMR sheets.

Also, the information given here is based on the information sought by the board from various schools. This may or may not be the way the exam is conducted. Also, as the CORONA-19 situation is still unclear, plans are subject to last-minute changes and changes. Hence candidates and parents are advised to keep an eye on the date sheet and circular on CBSE Website.

Students and parents please note that the examinations are expected to start from 15th November. The board is likely to share the exam details and pattern along with the date sheet.
