The Delhi government has directed all private schools to ensure that their teaching and non-teaching staff are not allowed to attend school if they have not received the first dose of CORONA-19. The Directorate of Education has asked all private schools to ensure that all teachers and school staff, including transport staff, have not yet received vaccination by October 15.
It is necessary to take all effective measures to contain the spread of CORONA-19 as the country is prone to pandemic. In addition, teachers and school staff who have not vaccinated themselves may not be allowed to attend school and their absence may be considered on leave.
Delhi Should Ensure Vaccination Of All Its Teachers & Employees:
In view of this, it is imperative that all private schools operating in Delhi ensure vaccination of all their teachers, staff and other support staff immediately. Last week, the Education Dept. directed all government schools to ensure that unvaccinated teachers and non-teaching staff would not be allowed to attend school.
All government employees working in National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT) Delhi government departments/autonomous bodies/ educational institutions/ PSUs/local bodies/ including frontline workers, healthcare workers as well as teachers and other staff working in schools/colleges should get vaccinated (at least the first dose) by 15.10.2021 as per the extant guidelines/protocols for vaccination prescribed by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare(MoHFW), GOI,- the DDMA order stated.
Confirmation Of Vaccination Will Be Done Through Arogya Setu:
The Delhi Disaster Management Authority on September 29 decided to ensure 99-100% vaccination for all government employees, teachers and other employees of schools, colleges and health workers who interact continuously with the general public and weaker section of the society.
The administration of the first dose of vaccination or complete vaccination will be verified through the Aarogya Setu App or through the vaccination certificate.
840 Children Approved For Benefits of By-PM During Pandemic:
A total of 840 children who were orphaned during the pandemic have so far been approved as eligible for benefits under the “CARES-OF-PM” Scheme for Children, a senior official said on Wednesday. The Ministry of Women and Child Development said that out of 3,910 applications received for support under the “Cares for Children” scheme, applications of 840 children have been approved.
