The National Board of Examination (NBE) has extended the NEET PG 2021 registration deadline till August 25, 2021. The edit window will also remain open till August 25.

Registration process steps

    • 1) Registration process on 16th August.
    • 2) The registration window and editing window for NEET-PG 2021, as opened vide NBEMS notice dated 06.08.2021, has been extended up to 25.08.2021 (11:55 PM).
    • 3) The officials have extended the deadline to complete the medical internship till September 30.
    • 4) Medical internship is one of the eligibility requirements for NEET PG 2021.
    • 5) Candidates who are completing their internship during 01.07.2021 to 30.09.2021 and fulfilling all other criteria prescribed in the information bulletin of NEET-PG 2021 can apply for NEET-PG 2021.
    • 6) In the latest, the Central Government has announced the extension of OBC and EWS quota for all medical seats under All India Quota.
    • 7) Candidates who have already applied for NEET PG 2021 can edit their category status during this window.
    • 8) Those who have not yet registered themselves for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test are required to apply online through the [email protected].

NEET MDS 2021 Counselling

NEET MDS 2021 Counselling: Registration Begins Today:
Around 30,000 BDS (Dental) graduates appeared for the NEET-MDS exam, conducted for admission to over 6,500 seats in the country. The Central Government also announced 27% reservation for OBC and 10% for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category in the All-India-Quota (AIQ) scheme for UG and PG medical and dental programs from the current academic year, 2024-25.

    1. Counselling for NEET-MDS admission, for which the exam was conducted last year, will begin from today.
    2. Counselling will be held from 20 August to 10 October 2021.
    3. As per the schedule released by MCC, the Round 1 registration process will end on August 24, 2021.
    4. The choice filling or locking of the registration process will take place from August 21 to August 24.
    5. The seat allotment process will take place from August 25 to August 26.
    6. The result will be released on August 27, 2021.
    7. Candidates have to report at the allotted college between 28 August to 1 September.
    8. The counselling schedule was released seven months after the exam was conducted.
    9. The results of NEET-MDS were declared on December 31, 2020.

Bachelor in Dental Surgery

Doctors with Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) degree had appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-MDS, which was conducted on December 16 last year by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) course.

Apart from the Centre and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the bench had earlier also issued notice to the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and Dental Council of India.
