NEET 2021 Exam On September 12 Registration

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Monday that NEET 2021, the national level medical entrance exam, will be held on September 12. Earlier, NEET 2021 was scheduled for August 1. The minister said that the registration on the official website will start from today.

Mr Pradhan said on social media, “NEET (UG) 2021 will be conducted across the country on 12th September 2021 following the COVID-19 protocol. The application process will start from 5 PM today through NTA website(s)”.
The third and fourth session of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted later this month.

Declare Board Exam BY States

Class 10 and class 12 boards including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and state boards like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal will also start declaring the results of the cancelled class 10 and class 12 exams. While Maharashtra Board will declare class 10 results by July 25, Haryana 12th results will be declared by July 25. The states including West Bengal, Assam and Odisha will declare the board exam results on July 31.
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has declared the SSC or Class 10 result today, July 12.

NEET 2021 Application

Students who want to study B.Sc. Nursing and Health Sciences should also apply for NEET 2021. This will be the first time that the test will be used for admission to these courses.

NEET UG Documents Required

To register for NEET 2021 students will need the following documents: Scanned passport size photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression, class 10 certificate, postcard size photograph and any other document, if applicable Ho. The information bulletin shall specify the format and resolution of the documents to be uploaded.

NEET, UG and Covid

NEET UG 2021 will be conducted following all the covid protocols. “To ensure adherence to the COVID-19 protocol, face masks will be provided to all the candidates at the centre. Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper hygiene, seating with social distancing etc. will also be ensured,” the minister said.

This year the number of exams centres and exam cities has been increased. The education minister said, “To ensure social distancing norms, the number of cities where the examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198. The number of examination centres will also be increased from the 3862 centres used in 2020”.

NEET Application Form 2021 Release Date

NEET 2021 application forms will be released at ntaneet.nic.in, neet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in today, July 13. Along with the application form, NTA will also release information bulletin, which will mention eligibility criteria, dates of various events, and counselling process. The information bulletin will be issued in 13 languages in which the exam will be conducted.

NEET 2021 Eligibility

To be eligible for NEET UG, a candidate must have completed 10+2 examinations from a recognized board in India with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects. Earlier for NEET 2020, a candidate had to score at least 50 per cent marks in the qualifying examination. However, relaxation was given in the cases of reserved category candidates.

For B.Sc. Nursing

Students who want to study B.Sc. Nursing and Health Sciences should also apply for NEET 2021. This will be the first time that the test will be used for admission to these courses.
