Of the total 2.96 crore students from Delhi (4 per cent), Jammu and Kashmir (70 per cent), Madhya Pradesh (70 per cent), Punjab (42 per cent) and Chhattisgarh (28.27 per cent) are not included in their total. Numbers were not shared.
While data is not available for states including Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra, Manipur and Uttar Pradesh, the survey for West Bengal was still in process.
The details were presented by our Education Minister D. Pradhan in a written reply to a question in the Lower House. In terms of absolute numbers, Bihar has the highest number of such students at 1.43 crore, followed by Jharkhand (35.52 lakh), Karnataka (31.31 lakh) and Assam (31.06 lakh). There are 21 lakh such children in Uttarakhand.
Children Without A Digital Device:
Other states with more than 10 lakh children are Haryana, Odisha and Tamil Nadu, while Kerala has 9.5 lakh children in this category, he said. With schools closed for a long time due to COVID-19, teachers and the learning process have gone online.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10 results have been declared as one of the best results so far as almost all the students have cleared the exam. Of the total 21,468 students, 99.04% have passed. This is a jump of over 8 per cent from last year when 91.46 per cent students passed the exam.
Out of 21.5 lakh students, 26840 enrolled in private mode whose result was not out. Moreover, the results of 16638 students are under process and will be announced later.
Increase In The Number Of Students:
There has been a jump in the number of students securing more than 90% marks. 2,00,963 students have scored more than 90% marks. A total of 57,825 students have scored 95% and above in CBSE 10th Result 2021.
Region-wise, Trivandrum remains the undefeated champion as it is not only the best among regions but also has the highest pass percentage ever with 99.99% students from the region passing the exam. Next comes the number of Bangalore, which has a pass percentage of 99.96%.
Kumar Vishwas Singh, a class 10 student from Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh has topped the CBSE class 10 board exam by securing 100% marks. Kishor will choose science in class 11 and says he wants to prepare for the National Defence Academy (NDA) entrance exam and “SERVE THE NATION”.
