The court dismissed the petition filed by some students saying that NEET has conflict with other examinations. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the exam, got the nod from the Supreme Court of India to conduct it as per schedule.

NEET UG Will Finally Happen Today

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (2021) for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India will be held today, September 12. After much delay due to the second wave of CORONA-19, and in the midst of campaigns for further postponement, NEET UG will finally take place today from 2 PM to 5 PM across 201 test cities.

NEET Admit Card Contains Guidelines Related To CORONA

For the safe conduct of the exam amid CORONA-19, NTA has taken precautions. NEET admit card contains guidelines related to CORONA-19 that students need to follow and other security measures introduced by NTA.

    1. On the day of the exam, candidates must follow the (NEET-UG) dress code, wear a fece mask and follow instructions mentioned on the hall ticket.
    2. Before entering the examination hall, students will be provided with N95 masks and will be allowed to bring hand sanitizer bottles.
    3. It is mandatory for all the students to undergo a frisking process before entering the examination venue. Compulsory search and dress code are among the measures taken by the agency to ensure that no student adopts any unfair means (UFM) to crack the highly competitive examination.
    4. Candidates will be allowed to carry masks, gloves, transparent water bottles and hand sanitizers in a transparent bottle (50 ml) to the examination hall.
    5. Space for rough work will be available on the test booklet only and students are not allowed to bring their own paper for the same.
    6. No electronic devices, heavy gold, or other jewellery or suspicious items will be allowed in the examination centre. Remember, Students will check with metal detector at the main gate.
    7. Students will not be allowed to carry any eatables inside the examination hall. But diabetic students (patients) will be allowed to have fruits but not packaged food.
    8. Follow the NEET 2021 dress code. You are not allowed to wear shoes with thick soles and clothes with big buttons. Girls should avoid full-sleeved dresses, dresses with elaborate embroidery, flowers, brooches or big buttons. Do not wear footwear with heels, jeans with large pockets. Boys should wear half sleeve shirt, T-shirt. Wear light clothes on the day of the exam. Avoid clothing with zip pockets, large buttons, and elaborate embroidery. You can wear trousers and simple pants.
    9. Students will have to report at the NEET UG exam centre 30-35 minutes before the exam time and in case of any special permission, students will have to reach at least 2:00-2:30 hours before the commencement of the exam.
    10. Most important guidelines is that – Don’t forget to hand over the admit card to the invigilator at the end of the exam. Forgetting to do so may result in disqualification. Exit the examination hall in an orderly manner as instructed by the invigilator.

How to Download Admit Card For NEET UG 2021:

    • 1) First of all go to the o’ website of NTA@NEET- neet.nta.nic.in.
    • 2) Second, on the homepage, click on “Download Admit Card of NEET (UG) – 2021”.
    • 3) Thirdly, candidates will be redirected to a new login page
    • 4) Fourth, enter your registration details
    • 5) Fifth, submit and download the NEET UG admit card
Affix the Latest Photograph

Candidates Have To Affix Their Latest Photograph:
Medical candidates need to paste postcard size color photograph (their latest) on the NEET UG admit card before reaching the exam centre. There is also an attached self-declaration form in the NEET 2021 UG admit card. NEET UG self-declaration form contains information on health status and recent travel history of medical candidates.
