All schools and educational institutions in Delhi will be allowed to open for all classes from November 1. However, schools will continue online classes even for students who are not willing to attend offline classes, Delhi DCM Manish Sisodia said in the social platform, last week.

The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) had also said that schools will have to ensure that there is no more than 50 per cent attendance in a class at a time and no student is forced to attend physical classes.
Government schools are registering over 80 per cent attendance after reopening for classes 9 to 12 in September, private schools are in the process of sending consent forms to parents and most of them will decide their action plan after Diwali.

Following a marked improvement in the COVID-19 situation in the national capital, the Delhi government had announced the reopening of schools, colleges and coaching institutes for classes 9 to 12 from September 1.
