The Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has announced the reopening of schools in the state from September 20. As per the order, classes 1 to 5 Standard will reopen with 50 per cent capacity, while class 8, 10, 12 will be reopened with 100 per cent student attendance.
The board has also announced plans to reopen hostel or residential schools for students with 50 per cent capacity. On the other hand, Zilla Parishad teachers and villagers of Devani tehsil in Latur district of Maharashtra collected Rs 40.75 lakh for the renovation of schools and served for education in their vicinity.
