It is notified that in respect of conduct of school-based-assessment where internal assessment or practical or project of Class 12th and up to 11.06.2021 the marks have been uploaded and changed.
Schools should strictly follow all COVID protocols while conducting school-based-assessment. It has been observed that some schools have not been able to complete school-based assessments in various subjects due to pandemic circumstances. Therefore, a school with pending practical or internal assessment is allowed to conduct it in “Online Mode Only” and “Upload Marks” up to 28.06.2021 on the official website of CBSE and strictly followed the norms.
Subject and breakup of marks for theory and practical or project or internal assessment during examination and whether external examiner will be appointed by CBSE Framework and Important Guidelines 2021. In the subjects where external examiner has not been appointed, the concerned school teacher of the subject will conduct internal assessment based on the instructions given in the syllabus in online mode and will upload the marks given on the link provided by the board. Where external examiners are appointed by CBSE for conducting practical examinations or project development, external examiners will fix the date of examination in consultation with internal examiners and will be taken orally through online mode.
As per the norms given in the syllabus the internal examiner will share the exam date with the students and the external examiner and the students will conduct the evaluation or examination. The marks will be uploaded on the link given by the board soon after the conduct of the exam. While uploading the marks it will be ensured that the correct marks are uploaded as no correction in the uploaded marks will be allowed later. The allotted marks should not be with the tilt of the maximum marks scored by both the examiners. Internal examiners will take an on-screen photograph of each student during the oral voice call and for school records. This photo should have a picture of the internal examiner, external examiner and student or a recording of the entire session can be kept. However, the policy of uploading group photos has been suspended due to the pandemic.
Teachers who are appointed as examiners (externals) will accept the duty and complete the assignments. Last date for uploading marks which is 28.06.2021, there will be no extension. Thus, schools are advised to complete all development works and upload marks carefully before 28th June. The policy for conducting practical or project or internal assessment component for private candidates registered for 2021, Class 12 examinations will be announced soon.
