Center of Excellence in Research on Drone/UAV Technology and Artificial Intelligence; Skill Development Center for Drone/UAV Operation and Maintenance, Nodal Center for Overall Administrative Drone Data Management for North Eastern Region and “AXOMDroneports” will help in upliftment of Drone Technology.
IIT Guwahati in its statement said that the AXOM Drone Ports will be used to support cargo drones that deliver urgent/medical and emergency supplies and precious supplies to remote areas of the North East.
The event was jointly organized by IIT Guwahati and FICCI. The initiative launched today will address various aspects of drone technology development and implementation such as technological advancement, training, legal aspects, administrative management, logistics, and adoption for the benefit of the entire region and country, an initiative by IIT Guwahati. reads the statement.
