The program will start in July 2022. Students having Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering will be eligible for MINDS programme.
Students enrolled in the program will work on AI problems related to the industry and will be co-mentored by a professor from IIT Delhi and a researcher from the sponsoring company, a statement from IIT Delhi said.

The institute said that MTech in Machine Intelligence and Data Science (MINDS) will be a flagship educational programme, which is planned to be made an ‘industry sponsored programme.
Explaining the syllabus of the MINDS programme, IIT Delhi said, it will include undergraduate level courses in core AI techniques such as deep learning and data mining, computer vision, natural language processing, and application-oriented such as AI for healthcare Curriculum, and also fundamental. Course on Mathematics under Modern AI Technologies.
Professor Mausam, Founding Head, School of Artificial Intelligence (SCAI), said, “Our PhD program has garnered a lot of interest in its first year. Our success rate among PhD students joining the School of Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) last semester was 90%, which is exceptional for a young academic unit like ours, as students generally prefer more established academic programmes. But they chose us, suggesting that we have built a really strong faculty team in AI.
Educational Institutions cannot Remain Silent today:
Professor V. Ram-gopal Rao, Director, IIT Delhi said – educational institutions cannot remain silent today. They should work closely with all stakeholders, including industry, non-profits and government organizations.
This will be the second degree of the School of Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) as the school is already offering Ph.D in Artificial Intelligence.
IIT Jodhpur adds new Courses in B.Tech in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering:
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur said that the BTech in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure program offered by it now includes courses related to Digital Twin and Asset Management, Design and Simulation and Telecommunications and IT, Renewable and Non-renewable Energy, Railways Will be included airport, and port design also.
Unlike traditional civil engineering programmes, IIT Jodhpur’s BTech program focuses on training in engineering design, product development, intellectual property and entrepreneurship, the institute said.
