Indira Gandhi National Open University has issued several guidelines for the students appearing for the IGNOU June TEE 2021 exam. The examinations will start from August 3, 2021. Candidates of Master, Graduate, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate programs registered for June TEE are also eligible to appear in the exam.
For students of CBCS based UG programs (BAG, BSCG, BCOMG, BSWG, BAECH, BAHIH, BAPSH, BAPCH, BAPAH, BASOM, BSCANH, BSCBCH, BAEGH, BAHDH) there will be no term-end examination in June 2021. All term-end examinations for these programs will be held in December 2021.
Information about practical examinations (where applicable) will be communicated separately by the respective Regional Centres.
The term-end-examination for intermediate year students of master’s and bachelor’s programs scheduled in June 2021 has been postponed and will be held in December 2021. A separate notification will be issued later, the university said.
Students who will not be able to appear in TEE to be held in August 2021 will be given a chance to appear in TEE to be held in December 2021. For this, the validity period of registration of those students whose registration has expired. In June 2021, it will be extended till December 2021.
For courses for which no examination is conducted in August or September 2021, the fee already paid by the students for June TEE 202I will be adjusted against the fee payable for subsequent TEEs.
If the situation of COVID-19 worsens further in any region or state during the examinations in August or September, the examination of the concerned students will be postponed and will be conducted in December 2021.
Indira Gandhi National Open University has released the IGNOU TEE June 2021 Time Table for Post Graduate Diploma, Diploma, Post Graduate Certificate and Certificate Programs on the official site of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in. IGNOU June TEE Exam 2021 will start from 3rd August and will continue till 9th September 2021.
IGNOU said in an official circular, “In order to ensure the health and safety of the students, the guidelines issued by the Government of India for social distancing and other measures related to COVID-19 shall be strictly followed by all the examination centres”. It is essential to follow the guidelines and maintain social distancing and hygiene to ensure the safety and health of oneself, fellow students and staff at the examination centre.
“Looking at the prevailing COVID-19 scenario across the country, some students may not find the desired examination centre. The university has tried to accommodate such students in the nearest examination centre as mentioned in their hall ticket”.
The University has clarified that the answer to the question paper will be accepted only in the language in which the program is offered. “Answer scripts attempted in any other language will not be evaluated and will be cancelled without any notice. However, students have the option of attempting the examination of the course(s) in Hindi medium irrespective of registration in English medium (except language programmes),” said IGNOU.
IGNOU has extended the registration deadline for June TEE 2021 exam till July 12. Candidates who have not yet applied for the term end examination can visit the official website of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in and register in due course.
This is the third time that the registration date has been extended. Earlier the last date for submission of examination form was 30th June, which was again extended to 9th July.
IGNOU has also extended the date for submission of June TEE 2021 exam forms, assignments, project reports, dissertations and fieldwork journals till July 15.
