National Testing Agency is all set to conduct the Indira Gandhi National Open University PhD Entrance Exam today, February 24, for the academic session 2022. IGNOU PhD Exam Admit Cards are available to download on the website- ignou.nta.ac.in.

IGNOU PhD Exam Will be Held in Offline Mode

To download the admit card, candidates need to log in to the NTA website using their application number and date of birth. IGNOU PhD exam will be conducted in offline mode at exam centres across the country. Every year IGNOU conducts entrance exam for admission to its PhD programmes. This year, NTA will conduct IGNOU PhD entrance exam.

Exam Day guidelines candidates must follow:

    • 1) Candidates must reach the examination centre two hours before the commencement of the examination.
    • 2) Candidates must bring one passport size photograph (as uploaded on the online application form).
    • 3) The registration desk will be closed 1 hour and 30 minutes before the commencement of PhD entrance examination.
    • 4) Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre along with a valid photo identity proof that includes Aadhar card, or Aadhar enrolment form, PAN card, driving license, ration card, and passport.
    • 5) If a candidate falls under the PwD category, he/she must hold a PwD certificate issued by the competent authority.
    • 6) Take your seat as soon as the IGNOU PhD exam hall opens. The seat allotment details will be mentioned on the admit card.
    • 7) Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after the registration desk is closed.
    • 8) Any candidate who has changed room/hall or seat on his own will not be allowed to appear in the examination, and his/her candidature will be cancelled without further scrutiny.
    • 9) Candidates will not be allowed to carry mobile phones, electronic gadgets, bags inside the examination centre.

IGNOU January 2022 admission deadline extended till February 28

Here’s how to apply:
Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the admission deadline for programs offered through Open Schooling and Distance Mode and Online Mode. Candidates can apply for IGNOU January 2022 session through official website- ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and for ODL program at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in by 28 February.

Candidates can apply till 28 February:
The last date for the re-registration process for January session has also been extended, candidates can apply till February 28. Students can submit their re-registration form for the next year or semester through the website.

Proceed for re-registration

The release mentioned, “Students are advised to read the instructions carefully and read the instructions on online ignou.ac.in after checking the box to proceed further” Click on the “Proceed for Re-registration” button.
IGNOU January 2022 Session: How to Apply

    1. Visit the website- ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
    2. Click on the ‘Application Process’ link.
    3. Enter the credentials and login.
    4. Fill the application form, and upload the documents.
    5. Pay your application fee, and click on submit.

    • a) Download the application form, take a print out for further reference.
    • b) IGNOU offers more than 200 ODL programs and 16 online programs.
    • c) The list of programs and other information is available on the original & legal website.
    • d) For ODL programmes, SC, ST students can avail fee waiver facility. However, this facility is for only one program per admission cycle.
