CISCE has divided the 2024-25 board exams into two semesters similar to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and some other state boards, which will conduct the upcoming board exams in two phases. CBSE is also conducting the term 1 examination in November-December. The board said that the revised dates will be announced later.
CISCE had earlier said that the first semester examinations would be online and the second semester examinations would be held in online or offline mode depending on the CORONA-19 situation in the country. The question paper for each semester examination will be of 80/100 marks for ICSE and 70/80 marks for ISC. However, the weightage of marks that will be finally used for the calculation of results will be reduced to half, the board had said.
