The Kerala government on Friday issued guidelines for the reopening of schools in the state, including allowing only two students to sit on a bench. The guidelines include allowing only two students on a bench and eliminating the mid-day meal. Instead, students will be given mid-day meal allowance.

Guidelines:

    1. The body temperature of the students will be measured regularly. The gathering will not be allowed, – the minister told here.
    2. He also said that online classes will continue along with offline classes.
    3. The Minister said that students with disabilities need not attend schools in the initial phase and online awareness classes will be conducted for the parents of the children.
    4. The minister said that hand washing facilities, sanitizers and masks would be arranged in schools and classrooms would be sanitized every day.
    5. General Education Minister V Shiwan-kutty said the draft guidelines would be finalized within five days after holding discussions with health and other concerned departments.

Joint Functions Of State Police

State Police Chief A. Kant issued directions for a meeting of the head of the institution and the school management under his jurisdiction to discuss the health and safety matters of the students.
The DGP asked to ensure that the school buses are in good condition and asked the school management to complete the repair work by October 20.

Schools To Reopen Across Maharashtra From October 4

The state government on Friday said that schools will reopen across Maharashtra from October 4. Physical classes for classes 5th to 12th will resume in all schools in rural areas, – said V. Gaikawada, Minister of School Education.
According to a survey conducted by the Department of School Education, more than 70 percent of parents supported the reopening of schools, Ms Gaikwad said. Till now schools were conducting physical classes only in those areas which were reporting relatively few CORONA-19 cases.

    • 1) He said that physical classes for class 8th to Class 12th would resume everywhere in urban areas.
    • 2) Physical classes for class 1st to 7th will not resume yet
    • 3) Standards 1st to 4th in urban areas and in rural areas.
    • 4) Although schools will reopen across the state, there is no compulsion for students to attend physical classes. Parental consent will be required if they want to attend, the minister said.

Bihar CM. N. Kumar on Friday announced the reopening of educational institutions after a prolonged shutdown due to the KOVID-19 pandemic.
Corona pandemic restrictions have yielded positive results. After reviewing the situation today, it has been decided to open all Anganwadi centres and schools for small children by November 15, 2021- the Chief Minister said on a social platform.

Festivals & Schools Treated by Govt.

As the number of CORONA-19 cases is decreasing, the Bihar government has decided to reopen the schools. According to the statement, the decision to reopen the school has been taken after analyzing the COVID situation in the state.
Schools reopened for students of classes 1 to Class 8 standard in Bihar from August 16,2021. As per the order of the state government, the schools from class 9 to 12 standard were also reopened with 50 -51 % attendance of students.
The district administration will issue orders for procession and crowd management during the upcoming festivals.
