GATE 2022 Registration Deadline Extended Till 30 September, check here

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has extended the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 application deadline.
The application deadline has been extended to 30 September 2021 (Thursday) without any additional charges, read a statement on the website. GATE is conducted as a qualifying test to shortlist applicants for admission to postgraduate (PG) programs in engineering or science with scholarship and assistance from the government.

GATE 2022 Application

GATE 2022 Application Steps:

1) First, Go to gate.iitkgp.ac.in
2) Second, Click on apply online link and complete the registration process
3) Third, Fill the GATE 2022 Application Form
4) Next, you have to Upload required documents including scanned images of photograph and signature
5) Fifth, Pay the GATE 2022 Registration Fee
6) After that, Preview the filled GATE Application Form 2022
7) Seventh, Submit GATE 2022 Application Form
8) Now, a candidate who has already completed a Government approved degree program in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce or Arts is eligible to appear in GATE 2022 exam.
9) However, candidates holding certification from any professional society must ensure that the examinations conducted by the committees are approved by MoE/AICTE/UGC/UPSC as equivalent to BE, B.Tech, B.Arch, or B.Planning.
10) Candidates who have obtained or are pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India should be currently in third or higher year or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, Arts or Commerce (Duration: at least 3 years).

GATE 2022 Application Date

Earlier scheduled to close on Tuesday, September 28, GATE 2022 application will now be open till Thursday, September 30. Applicants can register online and submit GATE 2022 application form @gate.iitkgp.ac.in without payment of additional fee.

3) Valid Mobile Number (number should be functional):
4) Email ID (Email ID should be functional):
5) Name of Parents:
6) Educational Degree in Scanned Format (Check Dimensions & Size):
7) Present scanned photograph (to be submitted as per required size):
8) Scanned Signature of the Applicant:
9) Scanned copy on a valid photo ID document like Aadhar card or PAN card:
10) Caste Certificate (if applicable).
11) PWD Certificate (Disability Certificate if applicable).

Additional Information About The GATE

Additional Information:

The exam is conducted once a year at the national level. The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
Candidates must check the exam pattern, eligibility criteria and syllabus before filling the GATE 2022 application form.
The exam is conducted for the candidates to take admission in the master’s programmes.
Candidates belonging to general category will have to pay Rs 1500 as application fee.
This year, IIT Kharagpur is the governing body.
