Now the wait is over, in view of increasing cases of corona virus across India, an important virtual meeting will be take place at 11.30 am, on 23rd May. A high-level meeting will be conducted today. The meeting will be chaired by Rajnath Singh who is our Union Defence Minister. That meeting will be held in the presence of Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank (Union Minister for Education), Smriti Zubin Irani (Union Minister for Women and Child) and Union Minister Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar.

It has been learned from their side that this meeting is very important because it is seen that students are in a serious concern for a long time and at the same time they want to know about the exam because they have prepared for their studies. And in the coming time, students can also apply at different places according to his number, so to ensure the future of the students or a meeting has been called.

A meeting will be conducted on 23.05.2021 with all the education secretaries and chairpersons of state examination boards and education ministers of States and Union Territories as well as all the stakeholders to discuss about the conduct and management of the exams for “Class 12” and “Entrance Examinations” for professional courses such as JEE, NEET and other important examinations.

Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank”, Union Minister for Education has written to all States and Union territories regarding the conduct of examinations stating that “Ministry of Education and CBSE are exploring options regarding the conduct of examinations and the Department of School Education & Literacy and all institutions. We should keeping in mind the priority of safety and security of the students and the teachers. The Department of Higher Education is also deliberating upon the finalisation of the dates of examinations for institutions of higher learning so that the students are comfortable enough to prepare for their next exam.

The letter further read that due to the ongoing pandemic of CORONA-19, almost all “state education boards”, “Central Board of Secondary Education” and “Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE)” have postponed the class 12 exams, this year.

Given the growing condition of the corona, all type entrance examination may be postponed by the educational institutions. Such as National Testing Agency (NTA) and other National exam have also postponed the entrance exams for admissions to professional courses.

Since the conduct of class 12 exams and other entrance exams across the country have a great impact of student’s life and their future. A decision will be made regarding the same. In the other aspects “As the conduct of Class XII examinations impacts upon State Board exams and other entrance exams across the country, and this is the exam where the students are most worried because after that they have different types of choices in which field they want to go. So, to reduce the uncertainty among students it is desirable that a considered decision-based on inputs of different State Governments and UT Administrations is taken about Class XII CBSE examinations in the interest of all the students across the country,” PIB said.

Through the digital writing application of Twitter, the education minister has also sought inputs from all the stakeholders like teachers, parents and students and others.
