After the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021, it was announced that the board exam candidates will be assessed by a “well-defined criterion”. Now, CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 students and their parents are wondering when the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce this “well defined objective criteria”. According to CBSE officials, it will take at least two weeks to prepare this evaluation criterion.
According to an ANI report, CBSE officials have informed that it will take at least two weeks to structure the evaluation criteria for the students of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. Speaking to ANI, a senior CBSE official said, “The process of meeting the criteria for evaluation of class 12 students will take at least two weeks.”
The decision to cancel the CBSE Class 12 board exam 2021 was taken on Tuesday (01.06.2021) after a meeting on the issue chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to the release issued from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in that meeting, the PM said that all the stakeholders need to be sensitive towards the students. He has also directed the officials to ensure that the results are prepared in a fair and time bound manner as per well-defined criteria. It has also been decided that like last year, if some students wish to take the examination, such option will be provided to them by CBSE, if the situation permits.
Anurag Tripathi, Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education said, “The decision is yet to be taken. After it is completed, we will put our decision in the public domain. Though we will all prepare it soon. We will prepare for class 12 evaluation. are in the process of framing norms”. Anurag Tripathi has also assured the parents, teachers, principals and students not to panic and wait a bit for the announcement of the Central Board of Secondary Education Class 12 Board Exam 2021 evaluation criteria.
The Central Board of Secondary Education Class 12 Board Exam 2021 was scheduled to be held from May 4, 2021 to June 4, 2021. The CBSE Class 10 board exam 2021 on April 14, 2021 was also cancelled. CBSE has also announced marks tabulation policy based on which the students of CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 will be evaluated.
