The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic caused much devastation in 2021. Even several state governments cancelled class 10th board exams to maintain the safety of students and staff. Class 10th students were given mass promotion to the next class on the basis of class 9th final exam results.
This came as a big relief to the students of CBSE, CICSE and other state boards who were about to appear for the Senior Secondary Board Examination 2021. Now in the midst of all this, Punjab and Haryana Board has declared the class 10 results but other boards are yet to announce the same. So, here we are with the list of central and state boards and their result date for class 10. Let’s take a look.

The Central Board Of Secondary Education

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 10 results 2021 by July 20. Students will be marked on the basis of their Class 10 internal assessment, i.e., 20 marks for each subject, 10 marks for unit test, 30 for half yearly exam and 40 for pre-board exam.

Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations will release the ICSE or Class 10 results by July 15, 2021.

Uttar Pradesh And Uttarakhand Board

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), is expected to declare the class 10 results in July. Students will be marked on the basis of marks obtained in class 9 final exam and class 10 pre-board. Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) may declare the 10th result by July 15.

Gujarat & Maharashtra Board

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) may announce the SSC or Class 10th Result 2021 by the end of July. Students will be marked on two criteria, i.e., internal assessment and main school examination for 20 marks or 80 marks. The state board has announced massive promotions for the students.
Maharashtra, State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced that the MSBSHSE SSC or Class 10 result will be released by June 15, 2021. Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will prepare the result on the basis of internal assessment marks obtained by the students in class 9 and class 10.

Orissa, Tamil Nadu & Rajasthan Board

Orissa, State School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Dash said that the board is expected to release the class 10 result on June 25, 2021
Tamil Nadu, state board may soon announce the SSLC or class 10 result 2021. The state government announced mass promotion, and there will be no marks or grades in the marksheets of class 10 students.
The Rajasthan Board will mark the students as per the recently released evaluation criteria. As per the criteria, the marks from class 8 to class 10 will be taken into account, i.e., 45 per cent for marks obtained in class 8, 20 per cent in class 9 final examination and 10 per cent for class 10 internal examination. Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) may release class 10th result 2021 in next 45 days.
