Continuing with its new evaluation policy, the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released the revised syllabus for classes 9 to 12. The word wise Or Term wise syllabus will be applicable for CBSE Board Exam 2022. Detailed syllabus has been done for all subjects. Released on the cbseacademic.nic.in.

CBSE Decided To Split The Syllabus

This year, in view of the ongoing pandemic situation, CBSE has decided to split the syllabus for classes 9 to 12 into two words. The entire syllabus has also been reduced 50% of the course or courses will be completed in Term I and remaining 50% in Term II. The students will have to appear in the term-end examination for the detailed syllabus.

Characteristics of Session 2024-25

Characteristics Of This New Session 2022:

    • 1) The academic session will be divided into 2 terms in which each term will have about 50% syllabus.
    • 2) Syllabus of Board Exam 2024-25 will be rationalized.
    • 3) Efforts will be made to make the internal assessment/practical/project work more reliable and valid as per the guidelines and moderation policy announced by the Board to ensure fair distribution of marks.
    • 4) The question paper will consist of “Multiple Choice Questions” (MCQs) with case-based MCQs and MCQs on assertion-reasoning type. (i.e., about 50% of the entire course).
    • 5) At the end of the second term, the Board will conduct Term-II or year-end examination only based on the rationalized syllabus of Term-II (i.e., about 50% of the entire syllabus)
    • 6) The duration of the test will be 90 minutes and will cover only the reasoned syllabus of Term-I
    • 7) The responses of the students will be captured on the OMR sheet, which after scanning can be directly uploaded on the CBSE portal or alternatively the evaluation can be done and the marks obtained will be uploaded by the school. (Term-I)
    • 8) The paper will be of 2 hours duration and will have different questions Format (Case-Based / Situation Based, Open Ended- Short Answer / Long Answer Type) for Term-II.
Students are Advised Prepare Yourself

Students and parents are advised to also connect with “Tiwari Academy” or their respective teachers. Please remember, Term I will be MCQ based whereas Term II can be subjective or MCQ based, it depends on the situation. The sample papers for the revised syllabus will be released in due course. Term I exam will be conducted in November-December and Term II in March-April.
