Anubha Srivastava Sahai, president and advocate of India Wide Parents Association, wrote a letter to newly appointed Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday (July 9, 2021). Advocate Sahai in his letter to the new education minister sought relief for private, repeater, compartment and letter students of CBSE class 12.
Advocate Sahay urged Pradhan to change the evaluation of class 12 results on the basis of internal assessment of the best three subjects of class 10 and 11.

You may recall, last month, an intervention application was filed in the Supreme Court regarding the evaluation scheme of Class 10 and Class 12 students enrolled under CBSE’s private program or appearing for compartment exams. The intervention petition was filed by advocate Abhishek Choudhary for and on behalf of 1152 compartment/private students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Class 10 private/correspondence/compartment students had demanded the CBSE announce the evaluation scheme for regular class 10 students, while class 12 private or correspondence or compartment students had prayed that the exam be cancelled. and their results are declared in a time-bound manner by deciding on an evaluation pattern.
Advocate Anubha Srivastava Sahai also underlined those students will lose an academic year. “This is a very serious concern and needs to be addressed. These students may also be assessed on the basis of internal assessment and their past performance. Some assignments can be given to these students if required,” she said. Wrote.
“Many people will lose the opportunity to take admission in universities and will not even be able to appear in various entrance examinations as their results will be declared later and by that time the admission will be closed. So, I request you to kindly look into this matter and evaluate these students on the basis of internal assessment of best 3 subjects of 10th and 11th and also give them some assignments if needed and declare results on time.
