The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday extended the registration deadline for students for training of counsellors and teachers on the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) online career counselling and guidance portal.
As per the latest CBSE circular, the last date for registration has been extended till September 6, 2021. The board has asked its affiliated schools to register their counsellors or teachers on the link uploaded on the CBSE website.
It is pertinent to mention here that CBSE had earlier this month launched a dedicated portal on career guidance and counselling for students.
CBSE wants to create Career Counsellor/Teacher Dashboard and train them through digital training session of duration of 1 hour 30 minutes.

CBSE Aryabhata Math Challenge (AGC) 2021:
In order to enhance mathematical abilities among students, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will organize Aryabhata Mathematics Challenge (AGC)-2021 as part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to mark 75 years of independence in the country. This challenge will be held on MY-GOV, the DIKSHA platform this year.
The theme of AGC-2021 is “Mathematical Heritage of India”. To reach out to maximum students across the country, the board will be hosting Aryabhata Maths Challenge this year on MY-GOV and DIKSHA platforms. The challenge will be available from August 31, 2021 to September 30, 2021. Students from class 8 to Class 10, irrespective of the board, are eligible to participate in the challenge.
Steps to Attend AGC-2021 for Students:
Once you join the course, you will be able to access the various modules of this course. You can either click on Start Learning or on one of the modules to access the content. On reaching the home page of “Aryabhata Maths Challenge – 2021” course, click on “Course Join” to register.
Ensure that the names of the students in the DIKSHA profile are CORRECT (No Wrong Submission). No merit list will be displayed or separate merit certificates will be issued to the PARTICIPANTS. Certificates of Participation will be issued online on DIKSHA platform itself after a few days on 100% completion of the course.
