CBSE Introduces Duplicate Academic Document System

There is a good news for the students whose academic documents have been lost. Now you can get duplicate documents with latest CBSE system.
This means students whose official academic documents have been lost or mutilated can now get duplicate documents with CBSE’s latest Duplicate Academic Documents System (DADS). CBSE always receives many requests from students for duplicate copies of their academic documents as either they are lost or mutilated.

Need For Duplicate Educational Document System (DADS)

On Friday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched the Duplicate Educational Document System (DADS) to help students with duplicate copies of their academic documents, which have either been lost or mutilated. During this meeting itself, many officials put forth their stand that this time something like this should be arranged.

As of now, these students are approaching respective regional offices or apply on prescribed form and deposit required fee in banks or alternatively send form and bank draft by post to get their duplicate documents. But, the COVID situation has made this process difficult to follow.

However, with the duplicate academic document system from the IT department of CBSE, students can do all that from the comfort of their homes during the current COVID-19 situation.

How Can DADS Help Students?

The help of DADS for Students:

1) This online portal will give an option to the students to choose a digital copy as well as a printed copy of the academic document.
2) This new facility of CBSE aims to reduce the human contact and physical presence of the students required till now and reduce the travel, time and energy spent by the students.
3) Now they can get duplicate mark sheet, passing certificate, migration certificate through this online portal.

Students have to log on to the official website www.cbse.nic.in
For procedure and options apply on the link https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/dads/home.aspx.
After this, the Regional Office will print the academic documents and send them through speed post.
Also, a tee tracking system will enable the students to track the status of the application and the details sent.
The portal will give the option of both the digital copy as well as the printed copy of the academic document to the students

1) Schools must send their queries via email
2) Dedicated mail ids have been created for both the sections
3) For queries related to Class 10 table policy, schools should mail to class 10 – [email protected].
4) For inquiries regarding Class 12 tabulation policy, schools should mail to class [email protected].
5) The Help-desk will function from 9.30 am to 5 pm on all working days (Monday-Friday). Help-desk will not entertain any visitor for face-to-face interaction.

Schools need to keep the following information ready while contacting for assistance, as:
School Name, School Number, City Name, In case of technical queries, the schools will also be asked to provide screenshots, Problems in mail should be clearly explained, mail should be short and easy to read and understand.

IT System Will Help In Calculation Of Marks

CBSE informed all the affiliated schools about the IT system for the calculation of CBSE results of class 10th and 12th. CBSE said that with the help of curated IT system, the entire evaluation process will become easier, hassle-free and less time-consuming. The Board further informed that the IT system will pre-populate the marks for Class X students passed from CBSE and try to incorporate the Class X result data of other boards.
