There are many students whose results are still to come. A total of 21,13,768 candidates had registered for the class 10 examination, out of which the results of 20,97,129 students have been released. The results of a total of 16,638 students are under process, the dates for the release of their results will be announced later.
COVID-19 Play a Role:
Class 10 exams were scheduled to begin on May 4 and end on June 7 in offline mode. The practical exams were to be conducted from March 1. However, the board announced the cancellation of class 10 examinations due to the rise in KOVID-19 cases.
CBSE results for class 10 students are being prepared on the basis of alternative means of evaluation, as the exams could not be conducted due to the pandemic.
The overall pass percentage this year is 99.04%, which is a huge increase from 91.46% in 2020 and 91.10% in 2019. Trivandrum region has recorded the highest pass percentage- 99.99%.
Chennai and Bengaluru are the second and third best performing districts with 99.96% and 99.94% respectively.

Candidates have to use roll number as login credential. CBSE class 10 result marksheets and certificates will be available on Digi-locker, a flagship initiative of the Ministery of Electronics and IT (MeitY).
Candidates can log on to the website, digilocker.gov.in, by using their mobile number registered with CBSE and download the mark sheet.
CBSE has decided to replace the word “FAIL” with the word “REPEAT ESSENTIAL”. Therefore, the word “FAIL” will not be mentioned in the documents issued to the candidates in the declared result.
In CBSE 10th Result 2020, 41,805 students were successful in securing more than 95 percentiles. In 2019, there were over 57,000 students who scored more than 95% marks. Last year the overall pass percentage was 91.46%, which was a slight increase from 91.10% in 2019. Trivandrum region had recorded the highest pass percentage [99.28%].
