CBSE Board Exam 2021 Class 10 Result: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 students results by July 20, 2021. CBSE examination controller Sanyam Bhardwaj has given this information by CBSE. Class 10 Board Exam 2021 can check all the latest updates and results of the exam by visiting the “Tiwari Academy” or official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in.

Bifurcated Syllabus

According to the letter sent by CBSE to all heads of schools affiliated to CBSE, the 2024-25 academic session will be divided into two terms with around 50 per cent syllabus in each session. This division will be done by subject experts following a systematic approach looking at the interrelationship of concepts and topics. The board will conduct the examination on the basis of bifurcated syllabus at the end of each session. This is done to increase the chances of the board conducting class 10 and 12 exams at the end of the academic session.

Also, the syllabus of CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2022 will be rationalized which will be similar to the academic session scheduled to be notified in July 2021.

CBSE cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 on April 14, 2021 due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country. Candidates of CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021 will be marked on the basis of evaluation criteria prepared by CBSE.

    • 1) As per the evaluation policy for the results of CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021, the internal assessment is for 20 marks and the evaluation of 80 marks is done by the schools. This assessment is based on the marks obtained by the students in various examinations/examinations conducted by the schools during the year. Also, the marks should be in line with the school’s past performance in the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021.
    • 2) To compile the results of CBSE Class 10 Board Examination 2021, various categories of tests and examinations include periodic tests/unit tests, half yearly/mid-term exams and pre-board exams. The maximum marks allotted for these three categories are 10, 30 and 40 respectively.
    • 3) To finalize the results, each school constituted a results committee as per the instructions of CBSE. The results committee consists of the principal and seven teachers. Out of these seven teachers, five teachers are from the respective schools of Mathematics, Social Science, Science and two languages. The other two teachers are from neighbouring schools co-opted by the schools as external members of the committee.
    • 4) The subject wise marks assessed by the school for 2021 should be within the range of +-2 marks obtained by the school in the subject in the reference year. However, in the case of all the five core subjects the aggregate average marks for the school assessed in 2021 should not exceed the aggregate average marks obtained by the school in the reference year.
    • 5) CBSE will calculate the result on the basis of the uploaded theory and internal assessment marks. At the time of calculation of results, the board’s policy of awarding grace marks will also be applicable to those candidates who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria.
