The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Class 10th, 12th Term 1 Result 2022 is expected to release soon after the end of the board examinations. The class 10th class 1st board exams are already over. For class 12, some vocational subject exams are still pending and are scheduled to end by December 29.

The board has not shared any date when the result will be released. Schools were informed that the marks and results of the students will be shared soon after completion. Meanwhile, the board has started collecting internal EXAM DATA & collating the RESULTS. Experts are expecting that CBSE will declare the result within 10 days by January 10, 2022. However, the board has not made any announcement yet. Here are the important points that students must know about their result.

    • A) CBSE Class 10, 12 Final Result 2022 in TERM-1 will have a minimum 50% weigtage – however, the proportion in which it will be used depends on the mode of TERM-2 examination. The result calculation formula will be shared by the board in due course.
    • B) No student should “fail”. CBSE will not fail any student at this time. All the students will be given only those marks which they have obtained in TERM-1 examination. Pass or Fail will be rewarded based on the overall performance of the child in TERM-1 and TERM-2.
    • C) Offline MCQ based TERM-1 exam and internal assessment marks will be combined and shared by the board – Students must remember that MCQs were only for theory part. Students will be given marks out of 50 for TERM-1, which will also include internal assessment marks awarded by schools to students in various subjects.
    • D) CBSE Marksheet for TERM-1 Exam is not likely to be shared by the Board yet. It is expected that the board will release the result for the students only and share the final marksheet after the TERM-2 exam.
    • E) Some experts have suggested that CBSE is likely to award marks to the students on the basis of their performance in TERM-2 and the internal marks awarded to them. However, it is not yet clear and the final decision will be taken by the board.

Students who have missed the exam will not be given any average marks at that time. Instead, they will be marked as absent for TERM-1, however, in the final result, how the marks will be awarded to the students is not clear.

Term 2 details

For Term-2 details:

    1. As far as TERM-2 examination is concerned, the Board is expected to conduct the subjective test in the month of April and May – under favourable conditions.
    2. The exam – if conducted subjective, will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of long form and case study-based questions along with MCQ based questions.
    3. Only TERM-2 Syllabus will be covered in April-May Exam. The date sheet for the April exam is likely to be out only by the end of January or the beginning of February 2022.
