Syllabus for upcoming boards will be rationalised. For 2021 also, the board had reduced the syllabus by 30 per cent, however, the exam could not be conducted due to the second wave of the KOVID-19 pandemic.
The examinations will be conducted in schools; however, the question paper will be centrally prepared by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to ensure the same level of difficulty. The term-end examination will be of 90 minutes duration – half the time of the mainstream examinations. Accordingly, each term will be considered as half of the total syllabus.
