The NCERT 8th Maths Chapter 6 Cube and Cube Roots is important for 8th Grade. It describes the tricks to find Cube or Cube roots of a number. The prominent method to find cube roots of a number is prime factor method. We do this by making the group of 3 at a time. We can find the cube of number by adding consecutive odd number. On the basis of cube and cube roots, we see some applications. For example, find the smallest perfect cube less than or more than a number. Take care during the calculation of cube and cube roots. Cube of any odd number is odd. A perfect cube does not end with two zeros. If square of a number of ends with 5, then its cube ends with 25, etc.
How to find Cube Roots
The cube root of any number can generally be easily determined by the prime factorization method. This method is the easiest and most effective. The square and square root extract, as in Lesson 6, and the cube and cube root as given in this lesson, are important for both successive classes.
