This is a poetic story of a fantasy place named “Topsy-Turvy land”. Everything about this place is different and upside down. The poet describes this place as the people here walks on hands, and Sea is made of sand on which bus is running and on roads pleasure boats are running up and down.
One wears his hat upon his feet and pay for something you’ll not receive. The poet (H.E. Wilkinson) makes children imagine if there is such a place where everything is running upside down or oppositely, what would all be the things they can imagine will happen. This poem will make their imagination run wild.

Class 5 English Chapter 5 Gulliver’s Travel – Summary
This is the story of a sailor named Gulliver, who stuck in the land giants and escaped and from there and remained tell his autobiography. On 16th June 1730, the sailor Gulliver was traveling and stopped in one island to discover around about the people and river and plants. When he came back to board his ship, he saw his crew was running to save their lives and a huge man was running to catch the boat of the crew in the ocean.
Scared Gulliver went past the field of Corn and Barley which is almost 40 Ft. tall. He reached a place which house of these giants. He could climb the stairs as every step of the stare is almost 6 ft. so he hides and when one the giant caught him Gulliver screamed his lungs out. Gulliver tried to speak to him as loud as possible but they couldn’t hear a thing Giant did no harm to him and Gulliver greeted them. One of the giants took him to his house where he met the Giant family and his baby and cat. They all are really huge. The giant lady served Gulliver bread. Post dinner Lady giant took him to bed and gave him a place to sleep.
