The poem is about the special mane Polar bear cub. Daughter of a White bright polar bear who lives in high icy caves. Malu bhalu is very clever and learnt the things like catching fish.
Looking far in icy water and clear sky she asked her mother how she could swim as she want to travel far to play. Her mother told her that she has to wait for the summer to come but she was impatient.
One day firstly her mother hugged her to teach her how to swim but she was in doubt as she never swims but many bhalu is very brave and had no choice so she held her mother’s hand and started swimming and so she started to swim with all her might.

5th English Chapter 10 Who will be nighthou? – Summary
In the village kangleipak in Manipur. There were king (Ningthou) and Queen (Leima) lived with their people ( meeyam). They had three sons Sanajaoba, Sanayaima, Sanatomba. King and queen were much loved not only by their people but by birds too, they believe everyone should be happy. 12 years later their newly born baby girl came Sanatombi. They all loved her as she is beautiful and soft.
King was worried to select next king to kangleipak (Tunggi Ningthoug) and called theire minister and said not as per old rules the elder son will be king but who is suitable to become king should become king. They arranged the competition whoever won the competition will become the next Tuggi Ningthou. He arranged the horse race to the old banyan tree khongnang. The eldest sons rode his horse as expert and throw spear so hard that it pierced the tree into two.
Middle so Sanayaima rode horse as expert and jumped the tree with horse so high. Youngest son Sanatomba broke the tree and put it near to the feet of his parents as gift. King and their people were so happy to see their future Tunggi Ningthou’s might, But 5 years old Sanatombi was sad and told her father that they killed the khongnang with spear and broke it and now it is dead. The birds lost their next too.
Seeing this the Ningthoug ( King) decided his daughter will be the next Leima of Kangleipak as she is not hurting anyone and still loves everyone and cares for them.
A king should never hurt anyone whether it is his people or birds and nature. People of kangeipak were happy with this decision to see their future queen is so kind heart.
