We can reduce Noise pollution by –
• turning off the appliances when not in use,
• using earplugs,
• lowering the volume,
• regular maintenance of vehicles and machines etc.
• By controlling noise, we can control negative health effects that noise pollution has on everyone

The steps that we need to be taken to reduce noise of the vehicles and to save petrol and diesel are-
i) While waiting, people need to switch off the engine of their vehicles to save petrol and diesel.
ii) to stop noise pollution, people need to stop unnecessary honking while waiting at a level crossing or on a busy road.

Omana saw that the river down below was full of water and had some boats. She could also see some fishermen on the banks.

Omana saw that it was sunny, bright and green outside and the train had crossed the tunnel.

Omana saw people wearing different types of clothes, eat different kinds of food and grow different kinds of crops because she was travelling through different states and India is a land of diverse culture, tradition so people living in different parts of India wear different types of clothes, eat different types of food, have different culture, traditions, festivals etc. That is why she could see so many differences. The lifestyle and way of living, religion etc of the people is different from each other. The houses and villages are very different. For example- People’s clothes were also different from what Omana saw in Ahmedabad. Most people were wearing white or cream-coloured dhotis and sarees.
