There is no such person in my family. There is a boy in my neighbourhood who cannot speak. He goes to the school for deaf and dumb. People help him by making him understand things by signs and lip movement. Sometimes, people give him food also.

Blindfold any one child in the group. One by one, the other children come to him or her quietly. The child who is blindfolded has to guess who the other child is, by touching him or her. Take care not to make any sound. Do you know why?

If someone makes a sound then the blindfolded child can recognize the voice.

Eyes are very sensitive organ of the human body and should be taken care of the following steps should be followed to take care of your eyes:
1. Have a regular check up with the eye specialist. If advised, use spectacles of proper power after an eye test.
2. Do not rub your eyes. If there is irritation or dust particles enter your eyes, wash them with clean water.
3. Regularly wash your eyes with clean water.
4. Do not read a book too close or too far from the eye as it causes stress.
5. Have a proper diet. Eat food items rich in vitamin A like raw carrot, broccoli and eggs.
6. Avoid too much use of mobile or watching T.V.

Who was Louis Braille?

Louis Braille belonged to France. One day, when he was three years old, he was playing with his father’s tools. Suddenly, a pointed tool hurt his eyes. He lost his eyesight. He had keen interest in studies. He did not give up. He kept thinking of different ways to read and write. Finally, he found a way – reading by touching and feeling and invented the Braille Script.
