Summary of the Story “The Grasshopper and the Ant.”

This story is about a lazy grasshopper and hardworking ants. The grasshopper was very lazy and spent his whole time idle. That was the summer season and ants were working day and night to store the food for the winter season. The grasshopper often laughs at ants. Summer season ended and cruel winters arrived.

It started snowing. There was nothing to eat. There was snow everywhere. The grasshopper suddenly remembered that he saw his neighbor ants storing food for the winter season. At last, the grasshopper visited ants. The ants shouted on the grasshopper and called him lazy. Finally in the end, the grasshopper learned the value of hard work.
