The difference between permutation and combination
Class 11 Maths Exercise 6.4 deals with the explanation about the combination for the question to solve. The first explanation is important because there you will learn about the division and making groups of distinct objects. Here we learn that the permutation is just the number of arrangements whereas the combination is related to the selection of objects. Exercise 6.4 is based on the combination concepts containing 9 easy questions.

Remember if the question is being asked about the order then it is permutation question and if it is not then it combination question. Post completion of permutation you will conclude the fact that in permutation all the little details in the word, alphabets its position matter. However, theorem 6 is the smallest theorem in the chapter 6. Though it doesn’t have its own significant importance. It will be important while solving the 9 questions from 11th NCERT exercise 6.4.
