Herbs
Some plants are weak and very small in size. They have green and soft stems. They are called herbs. Spinach, Wheat, Tulsi are Sunflower are examples of herbs.
Climbers
Some plants have very weak stems. They cannot stand straight on their own. They need support to grow straight. Such plants are called climbers. Grapevine, Bean, Pea and Money plants are the examples of Climbers.
Creepers
Some plants have very weak stems. They cannot stand straight even with support. These plants grow and spread along the ground. Such plants are called Creepers. Plants like Pumpkin, Watermelon, Bottle gourd are creepers.
Thorny Plants
Plants which have thorns on them are called thorny plants. They grow in desert mostly. Rose, Cactus, Lemon etc. are examples of thorny plants.
Leaves of Plants
Most plants have green leaves. Leaves are of different shapes and sizes. Some plants have big while others have small leaves. Leaves prepare food for the plant in the presence of sun light.
How Do Plants Grow?
Most plants bear flowers. They have different colours, Shapes and sizes. Fruits Some of the flowers grow into fruits. Most fruits have seeds inside them. Seeds are hidden inside a fruit. Most plants grow from seeds. Seeds have different shapes and sizes. Seeds are of many kinds. We eat some seeds.
Baby Plants
Every seed has a baby plant. It contains food, stored in it, which helps the baby plant to grow. When the seed gets air, water and sunlight the baby comes out.
